Our History
Trinity Monuments has a long history of serving the Cairns and Far North Queensland community. The business was originally established by Anna and George Holan as a division of Holan Foundry and Studio in Cairns, where the foundry produced hundreds of headstones and memorial works for local families over many years.
In 2006, the memorial division was formally separated from the foundry and re-established as Trinity Monuments, with a dedicated focus on creating unique, handcrafted monuments and headstones that honoured individual lives with dignity and permanence.
In 2011, Attila Holan and his wife Anna returned to Cairns to join Trinity Monuments, continuing the business’s strong reputation for quality workmanship, attention to detail, and genuine care for the families they served. Following their retirement late 2025, Trinity Monuments was entrusted to husband and wife team Trevor Hastie and Karin O’Reilly who are committed to carrying forward the values, craftsmanship, and community focus on which the business was built.
